Data Security and Data Protection

Data is being collected from member organisations for the sole purpose of data sharing between AoC members. Personal data will be removed from the source data before it is analysed. RCU will ensure that reports from the data do not identify individual colleges to other members or third parties.

In some cases the AoC may wish to publicise headline findings from the MiDES data, but this will not identify individual colleges. In all other cases, the data or any datasets created or derived from that data will not be shared with any third party outside of the AoC without the express consent of AoC member colleges who have submitted the data.

All processing of the data will comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Act. RCU's Data Protection Policy is below.

Data is stored and processed in accordance with RCUs Information Security Management Policy and all systems are accredited under the International Data Security Standard ISO 27001. On request RCU can supply copies of the Information Security Management Policy, Risk Assessment Procedures and technical specifications for file transfer, data processing and data storage.
